Homeschooled Students and University Model Schooled Students and Their Guests

Just Arrived

Eligible Students

Eligible high-school age students may purchase a Prom Ticket for themselves and a Guest Voucher for one alumnus or guest. Eligible students must:

  • Be at least 14 and enrolled in the 9th grade of this school year, and
  • Be no older than 18 as of this school year, and
  • Be homeschooled or enrolled in a 2-3 day university model school and
  • Be listed as a student on their family's TxCHP Registration and
  • Purchase a student Ticket OR redeem a Guest Voucher which has been purchased by another student

Also, parents of any eligible student who purchases a ticket or redeems a guest voucher must satisfy the Parent Participation Requirement as a prerequisite for the student's admission to prom.

Eligible students are NOT those who are attending public school virtually or attending a private school on a full-time basis.

Alumni and Guests

Alumni and guests are not eligible to purchase tickets, nor do they have a Parent Participation requirement. Alumni and guests must:

  • Be at least 14 and no older than 21 as of this school year, and
  • Be listed as a student on their own family's TxCHP Registration and
  • Have a Guest Voucher (purchased by an Eligible Student) redeemed in their name
