The TxCHP Website is under construction for the 2023 prom.  Thank you for your patience.  Registration should open by November 1, 2022.

Special Meals/Medical

Submit Special Meal Requests before

2019 Gluten-Free Dessert (Yum!)

Dietary Restrictions

If you have medically required dietary restrictions, we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs. Please indicate on your registration what type of meal you need. Prom staff will review the needs, discuss them with you, and discuss them with the hotel chef. You may check one or more of these most-requested Special Meals:

  • Dairy-Free
  • Pork-Free
  • Shellfish-Free
  • Vegan
  • Vegetarian

Please note that particular dietary requests/restrictions may incur higher costs to TxCHP which will need to be passed along to you. The Special Meals Coordinator will contact you with details if this applies to you.

In rare cases, the hotel may be unable to accomodate Special Meal requests. Our Special Meal Coordinator will discuss the options with you, including bringing a meal from home.

The TxCHP App has a “Special Meal” section in your profile that will be populated close to prom day with information about what special meal to expect.

Gluten-Free and Nut-Free

You do not need to request a gluten-free or nut-free special meal, as all meals served at prom are both gluten- and nut-free. However, items sold in our gift shop may contain either or both. On your student profile, indicate which allergies apply.

Other Allergies and Medical Concerns

A text box is provided for you to explain other Special Meal needs or allergies.

Let us know about any allergies, even if it is unlikely to be an issue at prom. As a precaution, we provide a list of students with allergies to our First Aid team on prom night.

Please email Special Meals with your questions.
